This musical theatre experience is geared toward students ages 7-18 of all levels of experience and ability.
There are two ways to participate!
Join the HOMESCHOOL CAST or the WEEKEND CAST.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON PERFORMANCE:
Sunday, December 13 - The BIG Christmas Spectacular - both casts of Elf are invited to participate and share a number from the musical in our Christmas show!
CLASS AGES:
Students ages 7-18
TUITION:
$375 (Payment plans and sibling discounts available.)
TUITION INCLUDES:
All instruction, choreography, music, direction, and many production elements as well as 2 tickets to the show.
ADDITIONAL REHEARSAL:
Additional rehearsal and coaching may be scheduled with actors in leading roles. These will be scheduled by the director in partnership with families.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT:
Parents may be asked to volunteer in various capacities based on their skills and interests. Families may need to provide parts of student costumes or be asked to help contribute to creating the world of the play through props and set pieces.
CASTING:
Depending on the makeup of the class enrollment, students may be asked to consider playing roles that are outside of their own gender. (Example: a girl playing Buddy the Elf is a possibility, among other roles). Students will be asked whether this is something in their comfort zone and we strive to support our students while also encouraging them to stretch and grow.
SCHOLARSHIP:
Limited need-based scholarships are available through our partner non-profit, Boldly Inspiring Greatness, Inc. Email becca@biginc.org to inquire about a scholarship application.

“Does my child need experience?"
No. Students may enter as beginners or experienced performers. The program is designed to help each student grow from where they begin.
“Will everyone receive a role?”
Every registered student will participate in the production. Specific roles, featured moments, or speaking parts cannot be guaranteed.
“Is this an audition-only program?”
No. Any audition or placement process is educational and helps the team determine how students can best contribute to the production.
“Will my child get a lead?”
Casting is based on the needs of the production, student readiness, attendance, collaboration, and the director’s artistic and educational judgment.
“What if my child is nervous?”
Nervous is normal! BIG does not wait for students to become fearless before inviting them to participate.
“Is the final performance required?”
Ideally, yes. Families should review rehearsal, tech-week, and performance dates before registering. Students attending less than 75% of rehearsals will be asked to attending for the experience rather than for the performance.
“Will there be extra rehearsals?”
Leading or featured roles may require additional coaching. Mandatory production rehearsals must be shared as early as possible.
